Nathan sits down with Gus Cutty, Asheville graffiti artist and muralist for the 20th episode of the Finding Asheville podcast. They chat about growing up in Nashville and Asheville, how Gus got started in the graffiti game, the unspoken rules of graffiti culture, Gus’s underground rap career, Gus’s time in San Francisco, how the gentrification of the Bay area may also be taking place in Asheville and whether that gentrification will be ultimately a good thing for the City of Asheville.
