The following event benefiting the Hope House of WNC was posted on Asheville reddit:
This Sunday, Westville Pub is hosting a fundraiser for the Hope House of WNC which helps victims of sex trafficking. It runs from 2-10 on the back porch of the Pub – there will be bands playing the whole time, a chicken wing eating contest at 4:30 and a raffle with tons of prizes. We’re going to have a bounce and carnival style games for kids and adults as well. There is a $10 suggested donation at the door but it’s not required. At the very least, if you’re out on Sunday afternoon and want to grab a pint, we’ll have a mini-bar set up outside and all the sales from those kegs go directly to the Hope House – so you’ll be drinking for a good cause!
