If Asheville Chinese restaurants were to face off in a good ole Western duel, King’s Chinese Kitchen would have the fastest draw in the land.
Every time I put in a to go order, I get the same response “10 minutes’. Doesn’t matter the order or quantity of food “10 minutes” and the only reason it takes 10 minutes is because they take a Samurai sword to a tree to make the take out brown bags.
The food is not only fast but fresh, good, and cheap. I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp last night (shrimp, fried rice, snap peas, bell peppers, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and peanuts) for $6.95, which includes a spring roll. This dish will also be my lunch this afternoon!
