Trio’s Pizzeria

For some reason I think every shoddy looking food establishment is going to have amazing food.  But more often than not my expectations are not fulfilled. I think it’s my personal experience with barbecue served in just dumps in the Midwest, but the food is to die for.

Trio’s Pizzeria is not shoddy per se but it is stuffed in a rather run down shopping plaza on Smokey Park Highway. Trio’s fulfilled my expectations.

I ordered Trio’s specialty pie the Grandma topped with tomato, basil, gourmet fresh mozzarella over olive oil on a thin crust.

I’m starting to think the best pizzas don’t involve marinara sauce. I loved this pizza.

Trio’s has a special for the upcoming football season, which includes 2- 16″ 2 regular topping pizzas, 12 wings and a 2-liter soda for $32.99.

I will be taking advantage of the above deal soon and I hope their wings are just as good as their pizza.
